A little of both. It is a good example of the style and exactly what I should expect given the label. But I would like it more with more malt.

This brewery did it how I always wanted to. Started out kegs only with three simple beers: an amber, a brown, and an IPA. They have become standard in local bars, and the masses love them. Now they're available in package! And they can barely keep up with demand because everyone already knows and loves their beer. Of course, this strategy is a little easier in a market with fewer options.

Ah. Nope, rebellious Utahians. They make some damn good beer. I usually pick up a few bombers when I'm in SLC (which I will be for the next fiveish days). If I hadn't liked them before, I would never have bought something with "sour apple" in the name. But this...this was great.
