That unit should work. I had considered it, but it’s not a brand that I know and the max throughput is only rated at 100Mbps
Yeah, now that I think about it I think I'm paying for the 400mbps service. I should hook this up to dad's house and get something faster for mine.
What would you recommend for 400mbps+?
I would suggest a pair of TPLink CPE710

I buy a lot of cables from Amazon. No issues there

One of these too
Yeah, I’m currently 100% all-in on TP-Link Omada. The router would be the ER 7206. Get one"On it. I hate software." ~Cpt Snarklepants -

OK bought some cables. I'm going to set up at least the bridge hardware today. Line of sight is important. The best place to get LOS is low enough that a semi going down the road could drive through that LOS. Is that a huge deal? Or no deal or maybe once in a while a deal?"On it. Bought this. So I understand the flow. This seem right?
Spectrum router
Cat5
Master bridge
Wireless magic
Slave bridge
Cat5
TP link ER7206
WAP maybe this one? TP-Link EAP225 | Omada AC1350 Gigabit Wireless Access Point | Business WiFi Solution w/ Mesh Support, Seamless Roaming & MU-MIMO | PoE Powered | SDN Integrated | Cloud Access & Omada App | White https://a.co/d/1AkzrPI
Internet ready devices.
Or should the ER7206 be on the front end of the bridge? Currently spectrum modem and router is in the office ans will stay there. Bridge is to get across rhe road to the house."On it. I hate software." ~Cpt Snarklepants -

Are you trying to isolate the network devices in the office so that you can’t reach them from house? If yes, then route on that side will provide internet access to the office without it being on the same network.
If you are trying to establish network controls across all devices you’ll want the router connected to the modem.
I would probably set it up
Modem->router-—>bridge->magic->slave->Switch->WAP

The router has multiple ports and we can separate the networks if you want using something called VLAN.The only thing between me and a train wreck is blind luck..... - Kenny

Yes, you're right, I was dumb. There are two primary reasons for this, have less shitty internet at the house and to be able to access the printer and maybe QB folder from the not office. I should remove the Spectrum router? There is a spectrum modem, then a Spectrum router. Or maybe call them and ask but that seems dumb."On it. I hate software." ~Cpt Snarklepants -
Remove the spectrum router. It is not necessary and probably sucks at routing. The only thing between me and a train wreck is blind luck..... - Kenny
i needs internets.
