I've never had this and I have no idea how close or good this kit is. But half price seems legit.

never tried any of their kits... but everything I have ever purchased from AHS was top notch, if a bit pricey... and the customer service is outstanding.... but as with all things, YMMV

This has been my experience from beginning to end. Occasionally they'll have some deals like this and I'll toss some cheddar their way. I've never had any issues with freshness of ingredients either.

I deal with them a lot, just for the customer service... and have always been happy to pay a little extra for it...

I used to only use AHS when I first started brewing. Never had a problem with ingredients at all. Before I discovered message boards I used to call them to get advice and they were always willing to answer questions and give great advice.
