Have you ever seen a glass that was so awesome that you thought, "Man, if only i had three, i could stack them in a pyramid and take a picture of them"?

Now you can own your piece of history.

If you want to buy some glasses you can pre-order them on the marketplace starting tomorrow.

that would be cool, but doing a laser engraving on the bottom would add to the cost quite a bit.

If it adds a buck a glass I'm in. Much more than that and I imagine it would be too much. Really though, I'm just stoked about TKT2.0 glasses period. We can do laser etching for the 5th year anniversary buy.

ok. so here is where im at with preparations. I'm still looking for a company that will do the engraving and screening for a reasonable price.

in order for me to not lose my @$$ on this, i'm currently looking at 16oz shaker style glasses with a single color imprint of the design below, for $9 ea plus shipping. it's more expensive than where i'd like to be for a straight sided shaker style pint glass, but i'm also not in a position to lose a lot of money.

Please let me know if you are interested in this glass style at this price, and how many glasses you are looking at purchasing. FYI - i have to sell 12 glasses just to break even at this price. if I have more than 12 committed, i can probably cut the price, depending on how many people sign up for.

to be honest, on a per glass basis the $9 is good, but considering the quantity i have to buy and the likely quantity that will be sold any time in the near future, $9 is break even for me.

But if we get more than 20 of them pre-sold, I'll be able to drop the price a couple bucks.

Ah. I thought you were buying the amount that are preordered.... I see where you're going. Can you open up ordering for two weeks or whatever time period and at the close of the order period, you can order the correct number provided they have hit a minimum threshold? I can't imagine you want to sit on inventory of any kind.

Unless I get drunk and break one some night... If I'm here when it happens you could probably capitalize on my agony and sell me a replacement for an absurd price.

As far as embossing, that'll be about $50 a glass for a min of 12, and $40 for 13-50 (I'd have to make a mold and blow them myself.)

So I can put you done for 12 crappie glasses at 50 each, that'll be $600 plus shipping. I'll need that up front, I'll make those glasses some time in the next year or so.

They are screen printed, but I would go for chemical etched.

As to the minimum buy q: 12 is the minimum.

I'm looking for commits on this thread to give me an idea of how many will be bought. That will determine the preorder price and the actual minimum before I order.

I'm trying to figure if you're paying way too much, because etching isn't that hard, and pint glasses are cheap.
And just screen printing is even cheaper.

It looks like JLW, Fry and myself are in. I'm in for four. I'll assume the others are as well. Really, that's how many you buy at a time. That is the 12 minimum if I am correct about the other two.

sweet. so we have enough in for the pre-order to be put up.

one last decision, we can print the design with one of many colors. we used a semi-transparent white last time (satin etch) , which i think is pretty hard to see.

i suggest we pick something else. here are the color choices. let me know what you like.

yes, unless we can get a few more people to buy them. Shipping will not be free either. I'm going to look for a local screen printing service, but right now, I'm planning on going through bargain mugs. Their minimum buy is 12, and between the shipping and setup charges, selling them at 9 /ea means I'm subsidizing you guys to the tune of $7.16. I'm willing to do that, but at a total qty of 12, I'm not willing to go any lower.

If someone can point me in the direction of some place to get the glasses and printing done and delivered for less, then I will adjust the prices.

4 should fit in a Medium FRB, so probably about $11

the shipping calculator says $11 whether its one or four... probably correct, since the small FRB wont fit even one glass, and buying a box for one or two glasses, and shipping it probably wont be any cheaper.
