citra issues

so, the people at Farmhouse brewing supply kept telling me they were going to get whole leaf citra by the pound. promised me that 3 or 4 times. they never did, and i hate them now because i had the chance to pre-order from label peelers, but i had already told these people i would wait for them, and they seemed cool.

so now i have no citra and i'm pissed.
does anybody know where i can get at least a pound of citra, preferrably two?

at this point i don't care if its pellet or whole leaf?

nah, they ran out long ago.
if you go to the actual citra page, it says that is currently unavailable.

Did you steal the fuggles from a local brewery? Not that I would do anything like that...

knowing your recipe acquisition process, i'm sure it involved some shady times in the back of a dirty brewpub.

And they probably aren't. At those prices, who would buy if it wasn't in a pinch?

i refuse to do bidness with that local place. they are assholes who are holding back homebrewing for their greed.

How are they holding back home brewing for their greed?

in their own ads as well as their webpage, they rip on friar tucks and worms way, the only other two stores in the area that sell homebrew supplies. to have a robust community, they should be embracing the other two places. i have had both worms way and friar tucks suggest i go to the other when they are out of something. that is good bidness.

Where did they tell you to get citra?

i haven't checked with either of those places, since none of them (stl wine and beer included) sell hops by the pound.

I've bought a lb of hops from stl. Hopunion sells pound bags, they sell some varieties there. Probably not citra. I bought cascade by the lb.
