    1c enter amount of beer they drink in a year(qt)______
    1d multiply line 1b and line 1c _____
    1e add line 1a and line 1d, this it your unadjusted beer need______
    2 enter amount of store bout beer consumed by you and your drinking dependents (qt) _____
    3 enter amount of other homebrew you (and dependents) plan to drink during this next year (qt) ____
    4 add line 2 and 3______
    5 multiply line 1e by 4 _____
    6 subtract line 4 from line 5, this is your adjusted beer need_______
    7 divide line 6 by 252 and enter amount ________
    8 refer to work sheet 8234 for line 8
    a________bushels of 6row barley
    b______bushels of flaked corn, if using cracked corn see work sheet 8234d part 1, or if using malted corn use work sheet 8234d part 2.

    I guess you could do that as some kind of efile option, though you'll need to remember minute details from last year to do that.

    can't i let my brewing software handle the details? I use the same software every year so previous batches are all on file..

    You would think that would work, but that'll cost you some money, and their is an 80% chance it won't work and you'll just end up using a 1040
