Got the refractometer woes? Not sure how to use the thing after fermentation has begun? Do you hate math?

    Fear not.

Refractometer Wizard is here to save you.
This is a simple piece of software that runs on windows based computers (sorry mac heads).

You may enter measurements in brix or in specific gravity - for any field, it'll do the rest. It allows you to compare target and measured final gravities (brix or specific gravity) and even allows you to perform synthetic OGs for those of us who like to add sugar to the primary after fermentation has begun.

    Work like a charm.

Its free to members of HBF (Membership is free, just sign up). If you like it just post a little message here to let me know how it's working for you.

Zing! But really that's a great idea. I don't really know how to write such tools, but someone else can do it.

make a list of tools you would like to see.

that one took about 3 hours starting from a blank project and my spreadsheet based algorithms. The hardest part wa making it so the calculations can go forwards and backwards in real-time. i didn't want to make some cheesy piece of poo where you had to enter data then push a button to make it do something. or worse limit you to only entering data from a refractometer (eek)

Ok, so here is my first web based brewing app. It's basically the same code that is in the desktop version in the original post, just set up for the web.
