The plastic pieces. They're all nasty and need to be replaced. Even the gas post diptube is plastic. Can I get a different post that doesn't use plastic?

I think those parts are needed for your model of keg due to the design of the threaded posts, something you cant really change.

Mine do not use those spacers.

  • Aren't they all the same thread? Could you order a ball lock conversion kit and get all the parts you need?

Btw, thats the mold thats ruining your beer. You need to replace every non-metallic thing. Lines, poppets, faucets, orings. Everything.

Well maybe. The problem I'm having seems to be starting in the fermenter. Or at least that's where it's becoming obvious. So, before this step. Also, yes, everything needs replaced.

I'm pretty sure this is the only keg that uses these spacers. They're stupid.

Yeah, I was just thinking if he got the posts, poppets, orings, and bushings it would all fit and work together.

I think its the little threaded nipple on the keg side that is different. But maybe not.
