Dark wheat malt heff

So I bought some dark wheat malt to brew a Weizenbock but never did. And I bought a full sack. Eventually will brew the wb but for now want a smaller beer. Thinking of a traditional heff but instead if white malt, use dark malt. Recipe is basically wheat and pilsner. From Brewing classic styles. What do you think? Any issues?

Any idea of the potential gravity of the dark what malt? I'm not sure, that's why I ask. It might be significantly lower than normal wheat malt due to the roasting. My gut says go 50/50 dark wheat to regular wheat.The only thing between me and a train wreck is blind luck..... - Kenny
