Ugh. I have not brewed in weeks... I'm going stir crazy! lol.

I have a couple brews lined up but no time to brew them. Dry stout, Berliner Weiss, 2 100% brett pale ales, Westy 12 'clone'... If only I could find the time. Just venting that I can't fill the Brew Log thread lol

I've given up on being able to brew regularly. 3 kids under 6yo consumes all free time.

What yeast are you planning on using in the Westy clone?

yeah, that's not going to happen for some time for me. Too cold, takes forever even with a banjo burner to bring 12 gallons up to boil.

I have an indoor setup and an outdoor setup... I do prefer the outdoor setup... but indoor is good for those lazy days lol. I'm planning on using WLP530 which is the Westmalle stain that Westvleteren uses.

I moved outside as a courtesy to the spouse type person I live with ... she didn't complain about the smell .... but it was pretty obvious that it affected her asthma. .. she did however, complain a great deal about the wort spilled all over the stove top ....

My girlfriend brews as well so the only time I get any complaints from brewing indoors is if one of my hoses leaks or something and I get wort all over the floor lol.

I guess the fact we don't have a hood also causes some fun troubles with condensation and 'brown' streaks down the walls in the kitchen.... I assume that's the DMS and stuff... It's pretty gross and requires a good cleaning after a couple brew days lol.

Thankfully my beer is still better. But she makes some pretty good ones too. She just became a Certified BJCP Judge so now I need to get to national so I can still be winning lol.
