Mash temp of 151 which is spot on for this beer. To get that mash temp I needed a strike temp of 168.

Batch sparge #1 with my newly made mash paddle. I shoot for a trike temp of 170-180 degrees for both sparges. I let each one rest for 10 min open, stir and go another 10 min.

Time to vourlof (I think I spelled wrong ). Notice how cloudy and full of grain in the first pic and then how it clears.

Wort chiller in at 20 min. Normally, I do this at 5 but I left this outside for a long time so wanted to make sure it was sanitized.

Btw, this beer does not seem to be fermenting. There is a little pressure but not much. I guess it could have gotten cold over night and slowed it down? I pitched around 85 degrees so it should have been warm enough to get going?

That should have been enough thermal mass and energy to keep it warm through the night for the yeasties. What's the temp at now?

I don't know current temp right now. I should put one of those strip thermometers on to check.
