New Smoker For a Steal
-
ok, not exactly a user build here, but i did have to fabricate a few parts for this thing since i picked up the floor model from the depot for $20.
the electric smoker is just sitting underneath after doing some test fitting.
decided to give it a go with some hickory chunks in the firebox.
with the lower vents tottaly closed this thing actually does a damn fine job of cold smoking.
temperature reading is about 100degF with smoke pouring out.
my whole back yard was filled with smoke. cold evening with no wind so it hung around. yummy.IMG00068-20111226-1538.jpg1024 x 768 - 118KIMG00070-20111226-1622.jpg1024 x 768 - 91KIMG00074-20111226-1623.jpg1024 x 768 - 122KThe only thing between me and a train wreck is blind luck..... - Kenny -
