Laughing dog - sneaky pete imperial ipa
-
Fairly typical imperial ipa coming in at 10% abv. Not sure the ibu's but I would guess pretty high to balance the malt.
Appearance: dark amber in the glass with a nice thin head that lasts until the end with very nice lacing.
Aroma: malty and a little sweet with some hops I'm the background.
Taste: malt forward I think with just enough hops to bring it back to the realm of ipa. When you take a drink you get malt first and then te bitterness on the back end. Very much what I would expect from and imperial ipa.
I like this beer and will buy more when I see it again. If your looking for raw hop ipa then pass on this one.image.jpg1509 x 2047 - 751K -
Sounds good. A malt forward IPA can be great. The yeast profile needs to super clean IMO.The only thing between me and a train wreck is blind luck..... - Kenny

Sounds delish. I prefer a little malt in there."On it. I hate software." ~Cpt Snarklepants
