ESB Priming Question - How much sugar to use?

    How many volumes of CO2 is typical for an ESB. Tasty Brew calculator has the range from .75 to 1.3. At 1.3 for 5.5 gallons the calculator calls for 1.4 oz.

    i aim for a 2. that way if you want less, you can give it a rough pour and let is sit for a minute to get it lower.

    This is where I carb mine as well, sometimes a tick higher if mouthfeel seems off to me, but with a keg bumping carb level is easy peasy.
