How to cut a cigar

    You basically want to cut off the cap which is just a tiny end on the cigar. If you take too much the cigar may unravel which sucks when you are trying to smoke. The trick is to cut too little and if it isn't enough then you can cut more. I use a cheapo double guillotine (which probably needs replaced after years of use). My trick is simple to ensure a good cut every time. I hold the cigar in my left hand with the cap end going through the cutter lying flat on a table. Holding it against the table ensures you don't cut too much off. Cut and you are ready to smoke.


    Note: this only works on the cigars shaped like the one below. I'll write up other shapes as I get to them. This is the most common shape so i figured I would start this with this cut. It also works on box press cigars.

    when i used to smoke lots of cigars i had a hole puncher thing on my key chain and i loved it. no more wrappers in mouth.
