    I can;t remember from last year but i think i used 5.5 oz The tasty brew calculator calls for 8 oz of sugar which has to be way too much. Oh and I'll be bottling this one.

    Oh bottling. 5 gallons? 5.5oz sounds about right, maybe even 6oz. I think you checked the "I want my bottles to explode" box on tasty brew.
