    I'm planning my Black IIPA and one of the hops used is Amarillo. I don;t have Amarillo on hand so started looking for substitutions and found this handy Hop Substitution Chart on brew 365

    i feel like there aren't any subs for flavor hops. most of them are a unique flavor that you can't swap easily with another variety.

    for amarillo, i'd probably go with a mix of citra and cascade.

    yeah, i agree.
    i have blended citra and cascade and they do come out tasting fairly like amarillo, but with more grapefruit.
