I'm ordering ingredients. I love Austin, but dangit they aren't cheap. Farmhouse has Marris Otter for 1.48 per pound. Austin is 2.29. So is Midwest. Any experience with Farmhouse?

Fry's Citra debacle. That looks like it. They're cheaper all the way around. And on their 10 pound specials the price is 90 cents cheaper than Austin.

I ordered from them. They have 4 days to get it here. 5 days I'm unamused. More than that I'm hacked.

at least 8 times. their shipping prices are very reasonable, and the 4oz hop bag prices are almost always unbeatable.

    Nice.

if I ever need to order anything (if I brew again) ill give them a shot.

no one can beat the grain prices at the shop around the corner from me, but I usually buy hops online

i get all my base grains in bulk, but i buy all my hops, and most of my specialty malts/yeast from them.

Oh, and both of you suck for getting bulk grain at such slammin' prices. Especially you Lake for not taking better advantage of it.

Their 4 oz hop bags are priced stupid. I don't how they do it that cheap. Half the price as Austin.

Ive never even considered buying from them. Their prices weren't competitive with local for anything. My local shop is good for everything except hops. I usually buy from hops direct

They certainly don't pack like Austin. My c-60 is somewhere in the UPS network. I've emailed them, we'll see what they do to reconcile.

thinking of giving them a shot... they carry the Belle Saison yeast...
I have to wonder how their crush is, if they mill the grain

(I really should get a dang grain mill, btw)

They responded quickly to my complaint saying they would reach out to UPS, blah, blah, blah. I have not had a satisfactory resolution yet.

Have you been able to get much sleep since the incident?

Did you file a claim with ups when it was delivered?
