Delirium Tremens

I picked this as my Christmas Eve beer.

The pour results in a golden straw like color. The head pours thick and yet is light and frothy and dissipates to a nice thin head that holds all the the way through the finish. The carbonation is light and effervescent and the tiny bubbles constantly rise to the top.

The smell is of fruity esters with a little bit of a spicy note on the back end. There is a nice malt backbone with fruity tartness with a little bit of spice that creates a a complex beer. This beer has a very nice body with a dry finish.

I like this one. I concur with your description. Very champangesque with a nice tartness.
