    sounds about right for the grey market price. I bought one that way, then connected up with a brewery and got 5 for free.

    BTW - i also fab all my own stuff.

    I really need to get a TIG welder for the next keg weld, the MIG doesn't have enough heat and feed control to get a tight, clean weld between a thick 1/2 FPT coupling and the thin walls of the keg shell.

    absolutely. Being an engineer and tinkerer, i get a lot of enjoyment from designing and creating the stuff too.

    this weekend im building something called a slow feeder for our horses need to build 4 of them.
    already scavagend all the parts for it. just gotta put it together

    well me and the wife work nights so we are not there to feed at dark so im building these so i can put in a bail of hay and not have to worry that they are not getting fed when we are not home.
    a bail should last 3 to 4 days per horse

    We should probably have an off brewing open DIY subforum. I could see that getting out of hand. Most of us are handy and like to build stuff.
