Yeast Starter Question

    I got to thinking about my saison this morning and I believe I only need a 1L starter. So I think it will be ok to only pitch a 1 L starter. The question I have is will 24 hours be enough for washed yeast to get going? I would like to brew tomorrow afternoon and pictch around 5 pm.

    It's worked for me a day before, didn't look like much going on in the starter but there was action in the carboy in a couple hours after the pitch

    This is good to know. I've just recently started using washed yeast.
